X-Cup is the student-focused division of The Great Race — a legendary cross-country rally where antique and vintage cars are tested for precision, endurance, and teamwork. Unlike a high-speed race, The Great Race is about accuracy. Teams follow precise course instructions across thousands of miles of public highways. The webcast features:

X-Cup empowers the next generation of innovators by connecting high school, technical college, and university students with opportunities to build, restore, and drive vintage vehicles in this one-of-a-kind endurance rally. The X-Cup Division was created to give young people the chance to:

Keep the passion for the old car hobby alive for generations to come.
Work together to restore and maintain vintage vehicles.
Learn critical skills in mechanics, leadership, and navigation.
Compete for scholarships and recognition.

Co-hosted by Museum Board of Directors Vice President and Great Race veteran Jon Seltenheim and X-Cup Legacy President Brandon Gregg, the webcast looks inside the X-Cup experience with former and new participants. Find out firsthand about the value of the experience, learn how X-Cup teams are supported, and discover why it matters. X-Cup Legacy is building teamwork, problem-solving skills, appreciation for heritage, and confidence among today’s youth.
