The Museum’s Collection History

The Museum’s Bus Collection is a national showcase for bus history in North America. The exhibit focuses on preserving the industry’s heritage and educating the public about bus transportation’s contributions to American history.

The bus collection is regularly exhibited on the Museum’s lower level in the Richard O. Ullman Family Foundation Gallery and outside on the Museum’s campus. The historic bus and motor coach fleet has grown, with some buses over 100 years old. The exhibit also boasts a substantial collection of bus memorabilia.
