HERSHEY, PA | There are so many milestones to celebrate this year: America250, the Route 66 Centennial, the Imperial’s 100th birthday, and much more. We’re pulling it all together for one night of appreciation, recognition, and fundraising at Night at the Museum (NATM). On Tuesday, October 6th, we invite you to join as we “Celebrate the Great American Road.” Robbie Wolfe, star of the hit show American Pickers, is this year’s special guest speaker, bringing insights from country back roads to the “Mother Road” of America.
The event kicks off with a 5:00 p.m. main gallery reception featuring live music by artist Danny Spec, delicious hors d’oeuvres by C&J Catering, and a chance to meet Robbie Wolfe. Following the reception, guests will enjoy dinner, live music by JazzMe, live and silent auctions, and the evening’s program in the Richard O. Ullman Family Foundation Gallery on the Museum’s lower level.
Welcome Back, Robbie Wolfe
Robbie Wolfe has been hunting for “unknown treasures” since he was eight years old. Over the years, he has built a large collection of old Americana, vintage cars, and advertising memorabilia. Museum Executive Director Jeffrey Bliemeister said, “We’re excited to have Robbie as our guest speaker this year. His appreciation for vintage vehicles adds a unique perspective to the evening.”
Honoring Those Who Make the Museum a Nationally Recognized Success
NATM is an event to show our deep gratitude to those who support the Museum’s efforts and those who have made an impact on motoring history.
Hall of Famer Bruce Larson Honored
This year, our Automotive Heritage Award honoree is Bruce Larson. A native Pennsylvanian, Larson is a celebrated American drag racer, known for his 1989 NHRA Funny Car Championship and his iconic red, white, and blue “USA-1” Chevrolets. He gained national attention at the wheel of a 1963 Shelby Cobra, setting NHRA A/Sport and AA/Sport records and winning his class at the Winternationals, Springnationals, and Indy U.S. Nationals. Over the years, he was inducted into the Motorsports Hall of Fame of America, the International Drag Racing Hall of Fame, and other Eastern and Pennsylvania sports halls of fame. His championship-winning car is one of two drag cars in the Smithsonian Institution collection. Larson has been involved with the Museum since its beginning, providing cars from his collection for various exhibits and supporting Museum events.
In addition to honoring Bruce Larson, the Museum will induct the 2026 class of William H. “Bill” Smith Fellows. Fellow status is conferred upon recipients for outstanding contributions or service toward Museum advancement. This year’s inductees are Bob Dare, John Dockendorf, and Don Schell.
Finally, we will recognize the 2026 Tucker Hall of Honor inductees. Voting for the 2026 class is underway and open to all Tucker Automobile Preservation Society (TAPS) members.
